Dr. Michael R. DeNardis
D.O., FACOOG
Dr. DeNardis is one of the founding partners of Osceola OB/GYN (now Woman’s Health Centers), opened in 2007. Dr. DeNardis began his medical career in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan. He then spent time in two hospitals, St. John Riverview Hospital and St. John Malcomb Hospital, before relocating to Florida and starting his practice here.
Michael R. DeNardis earned his B.S. in Biology at the University of Michigan before pursuing his graduate studies at Wayne State University. Afterward, Dr. DeNardis attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He performed both his internship and residency in the OB/GYN department at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. DeNardis has presented on complications of abdominal versus vaginal hysterectomies at a community hospital in Lansing, MI. This presentation was for a Statewide Campus System Scientific Research Exhibit in 2006.
Dr. Mark Palazzolo
D.O., FACOOG
Dr. Mark Palazzolo has been a Board Certified OB/GYN since 2005 through the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecology. He also has his Certified Physician’s License through the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. Dr. Palazzolo is licensed to practice medicine in both Michigan and Florida; he also has his Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) licensure. Today he is a partner and physician at Woman’s Health Centers.
Dr. Palazzolo earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University (MSU)-College of Natural Science. Afterward, he pursued his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, then served as Chief Resident at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital. He started his career as Chief of Obstetrics at Charlotte Women’s Health before starting his Osceola-based practice.
Dr. Palazzolo is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG).
Dr. Veronica Figueroa
M.D., FACOG
Dr. Figueroa has earned many honors and distinctions, including first place in these categories: Adolescent Pregnancy Demographics and Corresponding Neonatal Outcomes, and Prevalence and Susceptibility of GBS Strains (in two poster presentations). She also presented at the SACNAS Annual Convention, was a student mentor and Former President of UPR – Cayey Honor Studies Program. Her commitment to excellence in education earned her several sponsored trips, awards, and distinctions. This commitment to excellence carries through to her practice today.
Dr. Figueroa has obtained the following licenses: Puerto Rico Commonwealth Provisional Medical License, Florida State Medical License, USMLE Step 1 approved, USMLE Step 2 CK approved, USMLE Step 2 CS approved, USMLE Step 3 approved. She is fluent in Spanish and has a basic proficiency in Portuguese.
Dr. Veronica Figueroa, originally from the Bay area of California, is married with three children. She appreciates the fact that she lives and works in the same community, and often gives health talks at local retirement homes or the Osceola Regional Hospital. In her free time she enjoys photography, cooking, baking, volleyball, sculpture, and crocheting
Dr. Susanne V. Osborne
M.D., FACOG
Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada, Dr. Osborne has an undergraduate degree in biology from Oakwood College (now Oakwood University) in Huntsville, Alabama. She attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California.
She spent her residency years specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut via Yale School of Medicine. During her time in Bridgeport, she earned the prestigious the Yale Excellence in Teaching Award.
Before moving to Central Florida to be closer to family, Dr. Osborne spent a few years at a women’s health practice in Seattle, Washington, before moving on to work with a physicians’ group at Highland Community Hospital in Picayune, Mississippi. Including her residency, she’s been practicing medicine since 2008.
When asked what made her interested in medicine, and especially becoming an OB/GYN, Dr. Osborne recalls two different stories about her family.
First, she has fond memories of spending time around her uncle’s goat farm. She says that she loved the farm the most in the springtime when all of the baby goats were born.
Dr. Osborne was also motivated to become a doctor by a story of her father’s – that he had a sister who died in childbirth.
Fast forward a few decades from her childhood, and Dr. Osborne has certainly accomplished her goals and helped many women along the way. She says her favorite part of the job is sharing her knowledge with her patients so that they are informed about their bodies and reproductive health. She accomplishes this by making sure that she takes the time to answer her patients’ questions and address any concerns they might have.
Dr. Deborah Spiers
Dr. Spiers received her BA in Biology from Albion College in Albion, MI, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. While earning her undergraduate degree, Dr. Spiers was an active member in several honor societies, as well as her sorority’s philanthropy. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Spiers completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McLaren Macomb hospital in Mt. Clemens, MI.
Dr. Spiers has professional affiliations with the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Spiers is married with 2 young children. She enjoys spending her spare time with family, especially at the beach or the zoo. Her other hobbies and interests include: tennis, golf, and reading.
Dr. Ana Benitez-Prieto
M.D., FACOG
After completing residency, she relocated to sunny, warm Florida practicing in Indian River county until joining Woman’s Health Center in late 2016 in Seminole county.
Dr Benitez-Prieto has a special interest in breast feeding, having completed her residency research project on resident breast feeding education. She presented her findings as a poster presentation at the Association of Professors for Obstetrics and Gynecology annual meeting in Phoenix, AZ in 2013. Her other clinical interests include high risk obstetrics and contraception. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr Benitez-Prieto is married and a mom to two young boys, as well as stepmom to a teenage girl. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her sons, playing World of Warcraft with her husband, and crafting with her Cricut machine. She enjoys Star Trek over Star Wars and she is a native Spanish-speaker.
Dr. Michelle S. Ozcan
Dr. Ozcan has presented at the University of Florida College of Medicine on Clinical Competency in 2014 and 2015. She has also presented at the Association of Professors in Obstetrics and Gynecology (APGO) Faculty Development Seminar. She specializes in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
Dr. Ozcan is married with a 3 year old son and in her free time she enjoys crafting and excellent. She originally hails from North Carolina and settled in Florida over a decade ago.
Dr. Margarita Olivares
M.D., FACOG
Before coming to Woman’s Health Centers, Dr. Olivares received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Puerto Rico and moved on to receive her Medical Degree in 2001 from University of Puerto Rico, as well. She then went on to Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York, New York. From there she resided in and worked in the New York area until she relocated to Orlando.
Dr. Olivares is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. James Sorensen
Dr. Sorensen is very committed to providing the best care for his patients as well as educating them and giving them all of the necessary information they need to make health decisions. Dr. Sorensen is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologist (ACOOG). In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Paola Garcia, PA-C
Paola Garcia Rios, PA-C MPAS is a board certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico but relocated to Tampa to continue her medical education. Paola graduated in 2017 with her Bachelor’s of Public Health at the University of South Florida. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Gannon University.
During her undergraduate studies, Paola worked in Obstetrics and Gynecology for over four years, gaining knowledge and background in the field. She also enjoyed volunteering in women’s free clinics. In 2018, Paola traveled to India where she helped other physicians and students specializing in obstetrics provide care to underserved communities.
Paola is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is very excited and eager to make lasting connections with her patients by providing a welcoming environment, thorough visits, and valuable education. Paola is extremely passionate about women’s health and providing personalized care to each of her patients.
When Paola isn’t in the office she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Rocco, and traveling!
Brittany Calvanelli, PA-C
Prior to Physician Assistant School she dedicated her time to the underserved and uninsured population of Central Florida with Grace Medical Home where patient centered health practices were instilled in her. This has translated over into her current practices where she believes in treating the whole person ensuring their needs, preferences and values are met. She is very passionate about educating her patients on their reproductive health and is thorough with each visit. She works with adolescent through geriatric ages.
Outside the office, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling and reading.
Dr. Christina Caito
D.O.
She spent the first 10 years of her career serving Brevard County Florida as a full scope Ob/gyn providing women’s health services. Recently she has made the transition to orange county to continue to provide office and hospital services for all woman who need care.
As an OB/Gyn she believes in truly listening to her patients and providing them with all treatment options available. Her goal is to help the patient understand their health and their bodies and help guide them to keep themselves healthy and choose the best option when managing their medical conditions.
Dr. Bradley Kasper
D.O.
Dr. Bradley Kasper is a Florida native, born in Jacksonville, FL. He went to the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate majoring in Mathematics and a minor in Business, all while taking the necessary prerequisites for medical school. After completing his Bachelor’s in Science, he attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at their Carolinas Campus. He attended residency at the University of Central Florida for OBGYN at their Osceola Regional Medical Center location in Kissimmee, FL.
He joined the Woman’s Health Centers because he believes in their philosophy of “Any woman, Any time.” During residency he was trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, as well as a variety of obstetrical circumstances. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
Being well-known to Florida, he likes going to the beach or taking quick trips to Disney and Universal. In his spare time he enjoys running, yoga, tennis, and playing video games

Melanie Baez
PA-C
Melanie went on to complete her Master’s of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Suwanee, GA. During her clinical year, she provided care and Spanish translation to underserved communities earring her the President’s Leadership in Diversity Award. She has a passion for helping others and educating patients on how to optimize their health. She strives to create a safe environment for patients to share their concerns so that long lasting provider-patient relationships can take place.
Melanie loves to spend her free time hanging out with her husband, family and friends. Her hobbies include salsa dancing, reading, and pilates.
Marian Maldonado Soler
During her undergraduate studies, Marian worked as a Registered Nurse and certified lactation consultant in Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies for over three years,
gaining knowledge and background in the field.

Ninoshka Rosario
She then relocated to Florida to be closer to her family, where she started working as an RN in a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care and Hospital. During her time working in the hospital she rotated through multiple units. She worked as a RN for 5 years before deciding to advance her career. She obtained her masters degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Orlando. After receiving her masters degree she worked for 2 years as a Family Practitioner. During this time she took more interest and passion towards women’s care. She joined Woman’s Health Centers in 2023.
As a mother of two and enduring her own women’s health issues, Ninoshka is extremely passionate about providing care for women through all the stages of their life. She is committed to providing the best care to all her patients.
In her personal time, Ninoshka enjoys going on adventures with her husband and their two kids.

Dr. Ashley Byno
M.D.
Ashley Byno, MD is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. She has practiced obstetrics and gynecology at the North Hawaii Community Hospital in Kamuela and with the Maui Medical Group in Wailuku.
Dr. Byno earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where she was the mentorship coordinator and spent time volunteering at a local women’s shelter. She completed her OB/GYN internship with Christina Care in Delaware before serving a three year OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas.
Dr. Angela Guzman
M.D
Dr. Guzman is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists. She graduated from the Florida State University College of Medicine where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, as Administrative Chief Resident. While there, she was honored as a recipient of the special Leroy Raphel Teaching Award, an award provided to the resident who embodied Dr. Rapael’s ideal in learning, teaching, and leadership.
After completing her residency she worked for a private practice for 3 ½ years and subsequently transitioned into academic medicine. She currently has the honor of serving as the Associate Program Director for the UCF/ HCA Healthcare GME OB/GYN residency program. She loves mentoring, traveling, and volunteering. She is married and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two rambunctious sons. Dr. Guzman is committed to providing the best quality care for all women.
Dr. Rosanne Henry
M.D.
Dr. Henry earned her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando
Dr. Henry cares for women throughout every stage of life. She provides care for expectant mothers during their pregnancy, while in labor, and after the delivery of their child. Dr. Henry also performs minimally invasive surgery such as hysterectomy, tubal ligation, hysteroscopy, and laparoscopy. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
