Ryan Shelton is a healthcare operations executive with more than a decade of experience leading complex, multi-site clinical organizations across women’s health, specialty care, and federally regulated medical programs. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Woman’s Health Centers, Maternal Fetal Medicine of Central Florida, and OB/GYN Hospitalist Services of Central Florida.
Ryan’s career has focused on aligning clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial performance at scale. He has overseen regional and multi-state provider networks, led large practice integrations, and executed turnaround initiatives that materially improved margins while enhancing patient-centered care. His leadership has supported a broad range of services, including OB/GYN, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, disability and compensation examinations, immigration medical exams, and other federally contracted programs.
Prior to his healthcare executive career, Ryan served as a combat veteran in the United States Air Force, with overseas deployments to Iraq, Korea, and Kuwait. His military service continues to inform his leadership philosophy, emphasizing accountability, precision, and mission-driven execution.
Ryan holds an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida.
