Founding Partners

Founding Partner & Board Certified OBGYN

Michael R. DeNardis, D.O.

Dr. DeNardis is one of the founding partners of Woman's Health Centers, established in 2007. He's been dedicated to providing compassionate care for women of all ages in Central Florida for many years, bringing a wealth of experience and a personal touch to every patient. He understands that choosing a healthcare provider is a big decision, and he strives to create a comfortable and trusting environment.

Dr. DeNardis's medical journey started at the University of Michigan, where he worked in Anesthesiology. He then honed his skills at St. John Riverview Hospital and St. John Malcomb Hospital before making Florida his home. His educational background includes a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan, graduate studies at Wayne State University, and a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in OB/GYN at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital.

Dr. DeNardis is committed to staying informed about the latest advancements in women's healthcare. He has even presented research on hysterectomy procedures at a statewide medical exhibit. This dedication to continuous learning ensures that you receive the most up-to-date and effective care, tailored to your needs at any age.

Mark Palazzolo, D.O.

Dr. Palazzolo is a seasoned OB/GYN and partner at Woman's Health Centers, with a passion for women's health. He's been board-certified since 2005, and his experience shines through in his compassionate approach to care. He understands that every woman's journey is unique, and he's dedicated to providing personalized guidance, whether it's for routine checkups, family planning, or navigating the complexities of menopause.

His expertise extends beyond the clinic. He's a skilled physician with licenses to practice in both Michigan and Florida. He also holds a DEA license, demonstrating his commitment to providing comprehensive care. His journey began with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University, followed by a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the same institution. He then served as Chief Resident at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital and launched his career as Chief of Obstetrics at Charlotte Women's Health before establishing his Osceola practice.

Dr. Palazzolo is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. This dedication to professional development ensures he's always up-to-date with the latest advancements in women's healthcare, so you can feel confident in the care you receive.

His journey began with his doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he was recognized for excellence in clinical care, professionalism, and teamwork. This dedication is central to his practice.

Dr. Sorensen is involved in professional organizations like the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists. This reflects his commitment to staying current in women's health. When not caring for patients, he enjoys time with family and friends.

Daniel Vesco, DO

Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Vesco is a board-certified OB/GYN who brings extensive experience and a passion for women's health to our practice. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to women at all stages of life, from family planning and pregnancy to menopause management. Dr. Vesco has been recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic procedures. He is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements to offer the best possible care to his patients. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors and discovering new culinary delights around Orlando with his wife and young daughter.

Dr. Vesco received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency 1 training at Osceola Regional Medical Center.

Deborah Spiers, D.O.

Originally from Michigan and board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Spiers is a strong advocate for patient-centered care. She is passionate about educating women about their health, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment options.

Before joining Woman’s Health Centers, Dr. Spiers practiced in Kansas City, where she also enjoyed collaborating with the local midwifery community. She graduated with honors in Biology from Albion College and earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University.

Dr. Spiers is an active member of several professional organizations, reflecting her commitment to excellence in women's health. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, especially at the beach or the zoo, as well as playing tennis, golf, and reading.

Margarita Olivares, M.D.

Dr. Margarita Olivares is originally from Mexico City and, joined Woman’s Health Centers in 2017. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is also affiliated with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).

Before settling in Orlando, Dr. Olivares earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her Medical Degree from the same institution in 2001. She then completed her training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.

Dr. Olivares is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to communicate effectively with a wide range of patients.

Bradley Kasper, D.O.

Dr. Bradley Kasper is a Florida native, born in Jacksonville. He attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate studies, majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Business, while also completing his pre-med requirements. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree, he went on to the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at their Carolinas Campus. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at the University of Central Florida, based at Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, FL.

He chose to join Woman’s Health Centers because he supports their philosophy of “Any woman, Any time.” During his residency, he received training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, as well as a wide range of obstetrical cases. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

He enjoys going to the beach and taking quick trips to Disney and Universal. In his spare time, his hobbies include running, yoga, tennis, and playing video games.

Christina Caito, D.O.

Dr. Caito completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University. She then pursued her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. Her postgraduate training was completed with a residency in Michigan through Michigan State University.

For the first ten years of her career, she served the women of Brevard County, Florida, as a full-scope OB/GYN. Recently, she transitioned to Orange County to continue providing both office-based and hospital care for all women in need.

As an OB/GYN, Dr. Caito strongly believes in truly listening to her patients and ensuring they are aware of all available treatment options. Her goal is to empower patients to understand their health and their bodies, guiding them towards maintaining wellness and choosing the best course of action when managing their medical conditions.

Ashley Byno, M.D.

Dr. Byno is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. She has practiced obstetrics and gynecology at the North Hawaii Community Hospital in Kamuela and with the Maui Medical Group in Wailuku.

Dr. Byno earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she served as the mentorship coordinator and volunteered at a local women’s shelter. She completed her OB/GYN internship with ChristianaCare in Delaware before undertaking a three-year OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas.

Brittany Calvanelli, PA-C

Brittany Elena Calvanelli is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Brittany graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Clinical Sciences from the University of Central Florida. She then earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, graduating as Valedictorian with Top Honors. She is an active member of multiple National Honor Societies.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Brittany dedicated her time to the underserved and uninsured population of Central Florida at Grace Medical Home, where she developed a strong commitment to patient-centered healthcare practices. This philosophy continues to guide her current practice, where she believes in treating the whole person and ensuring their individual needs, preferences, and values are met. She is passionate about educating her patients on their reproductive health and is known for her thorough and detailed approach to each visit. She provides care for adolescents through geriatric patients.

Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and reading.

Paola Garcia, PA-C

Paola Garcia Rios is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she relocated to Tampa to complete her medical education. Paola graduated in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida. She then went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Gannon University.

During her undergraduate studies, Paola worked in Obstetrics and Gynecology for over four years, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the field. She also volunteered at women’s free clinics. In 2018, Paola traveled to India where she assisted other physicians and students specializing in obstetrics in providing care to underserved communities.

Paola is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She is very enthusiastic and eager to build lasting connections with her patients by offering a welcoming environment, thorough appointments, and valuable education. Paola is deeply passionate about women’s health and providing personalized care to each of her patients.

When Paola is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Rocco, and traveling.

Melanie Baez, PA-C

Originally from Miami, Melanie is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has found her home in Orlando. She is passionate about women's health and dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. Melanie believes in empowering women through education, creating a safe space for them to share their concerns and optimize their health. During her clinical training, she provided care and Spanish translation to underserved communities, earning her the President's Leadership in Diversity Award. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys salsa dancing, reading, and pilates in her free time.

Melanie earned her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Born in New Jersey, Norma is a Certified Nurse Midwife with a passion for providing compassionate, holistic care to women. She brings over 20 years of experience to Woman’s Health Centers, blending traditional midwifery with modern medicine to offer a truly integrative approach. Norma is dedicated to empowering women throughout their healthcare journey, from family planning to pregnancy and beyond. As she says, "To be a mother is to accept that your heart now walks outside of your body." Her colleagues describe her as "one of the most dedicated and sincere providers" with an exceptional work ethic and a deep commitment to the patients she serves.

Norma earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University.

Heather is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in women's health. She believes in empowering and educating women to make informed decisions about their health, with a special interest in high-risk obstetrics and midwifery care. Heather is passionate about health equity and patient autonomy. She enjoys partnering with patients throughout their lives, from adolescence to menopause. An avid runner and mother of four, Heather also enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and traveling.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University.

Dr. Susanne V. Osborne, originally from Vancouver, Canada, earned her degree in Biology from Oakwood University and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bridgeport Hospital through Yale School of Medicine, where she received the Yale Excellence in Teaching Award.

Before joining Woman’s Health Centers, Dr. Osborne practiced in Seattle and Mississippi. Her interest in medicine, particularly in OB/GYN, was sparked by her childhood on a farm and the story of an aunt who passed away during childbirth.

Ever since 2008, Dr. Osborne has made it her mission to share her expertise with patients, making sure they truly understand their reproductive health and taking the time to answer every single question they have.

Ana Benitez-Prieto, M.D.

Dr. Ana Benitez-Prieto, originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico in 2007 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical Center in New York. She has been with Woman’s Health Centers since late 2016.

Her dedication is evident in her special interest in breastfeeding, which was the focus of her residency research. Additionally, she specializes in high-risk pregnancies and family planning. Dr. Benitez-Prieto is board-certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Dr. Benitez-Prieto is married and a mother of two young boys, as well as a stepmother to a teenager. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her children, sharing video games with her husband, and crafting.

Dr. Michelle Stalnaker Ozcan is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and the Residency Program Director for General Gynecology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

She completed her residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville and also spent time at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Her specialty is Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, and she has presented her research at various institutions.

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Ozcan has lived in Florida for over a decade. She is married with a three-year-old son and enjoys crafting and striving for excellence in her free time.

Dr. Bartlett earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Botsford Hospital (now Beaumont Hospital) in Farmington Hills, MI, in 1998. Following residency, she stayed on staff at Botsford Hospital as an attending physician and resident trainer, becoming board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology during that time.

In 2002, Dr. Bartlett relocated to Marshall, Michigan, and became a partner in a private practice for 18 years. She also achieved board certification in Obesity Medicine in 2015. After practicing in Ocala, Florida, Dr. Bartlett joined Woman’s Health Centers in Oviedo, Florida, in November 2023. Since January 2023, she has been a full-time laborist physician at Oviedo Medical Center.

Dr. Rosanne Henry practices obstetrics and gynecology with the OB/GYN Hospitalist Group of Central Florida.

Dr. Henry earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She graduated with honors in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Dr. Henry provides care for women through all stages of life. She cares for expectant mothers during pregnancy, labor, and after childbirth. Dr. Henry also performs minimally invasive surgeries such as hysterectomies, tubal ligations, hysteroscopies, and laparoscopies. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
